About the Scholarship
The Broward County City Management Association (BCCMA) offers its 2026 Scholarship Program to support students pursuing careers in public administration and related fields.
The program Reflects BCCMA's commitment to developing future leaders dedicated to public service and enhancing the quality of life in Broward County communities
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled for the Fall 2026 term in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s program
- Be pursuing a degree in public administration, political science, or a related government field
- Be a Broward County resident
- Have a minimum 2.5 GPA (unweighted, on a 4.0 scale), verified by official transcript
- Not be receiving full tuition reimbursement from a government employer
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
A complete application includes:
- Application Form
- Essay outlining educational goals and interest in public service
- Official Transcript
- Resume
- Two letters of recommendation
Submission & Contact Information
Qualifying students must submit a completed application. The application must include an essay telling us about your educational aspirations, future goals and career plans in public service, and why you believe public service is important. Additionally, an official transcript, a resume and two letters of recommendation and the official college transcript (include GPA) are required to be considered for the scholarship.
